Values You Can Believe In

The best social program in the world is a good job and I believe every worker deserves an opportunity to succeed.

This begins with fair pay, education, and healthcare.

Equal pay for equal work and the ability to balance work

and family life.

The Platform

Serving The Community

Javier was born and raised  in Tucson Arizona.  He has been working to make our community a better place

and is running for the Arizona House of Representatives In Legislative District 3.

He would like to give Blue collar families in Southern Arizona a voice at the State Capitol.

Working Families

  • Access to higher education without being burdened by debt.
  • Childcare and early-childhood development for student-parents.
  • Adequately fund AHCCCS and CHIP for low-income families.
  • Raise the minimum wage.
  • Protect workers from wage theft and enforce laws that protect workers
  • Give single parents the necessary resources to succeed.

Public Education

  • Increase funding for public education and increase teacher salaries.  It is not about throwing money at the problem, it is about teacher retention, curbing high turnover rates, and keeping effective and passionate teachers in the classroom.
  • Hold charter schools accountable to our communities full transparency and Financial disclosure.
  • Close loopholes that divert our tax dollars from public education.
  • Programs that offer preschool and daycare to low-income families and provide all day Kindergarten for all.

  • Clean water and water conservation.
  • Protect Saguaro National Monument and Tucson Mountain Park from over-development.

  • Create labor laws that work for families, not against them.
  • Davis Bacon and Project Labor Agreements for state and locally funded construction and infrastructure projects. For instance, material prices for contractor bids are within 1-2% of each other; labor rates should also be held to that standard. Arizona's skilled workers should come first, ahead of materials and equipment, not to mention contractors who employ cheaper, untrained installers for larger profit.
  • Incentivize companies that create manufacturing jobs in Tucson and require local workforce to build and manufacture with training  and benefits.

United By A Common Goal

“All men and women are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men and women, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. Within the orderly processes of such government lies the hope of the worker in advancing society toward the ultimate goal of social and economic justice."
